Forward School is now a certified Malaysia Digital Hub™

Starting a new business is no easy feat.

It goes beyond drafting a business plan or filling up a financing application. While the road to entrepreneurship is often a long and treacherous one, the journey can be easily made twice as hard if you don’t have the right support system.

And in efforts to grow the local startup ecosystem, this is where we would like to extend our support.

Which is why we are happy to announce that Forward School is now certified as a Malaysia Digital Hub!

Now, what is a Malaysia Digital Hub?

Malaysia Digital Hub (MDH) is an initiative by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) as part of their efforts to fuel high-potential local and international tech companies to spread their wings in the ASEAN stage.

While it encourages participation from all tech startups, MDH focuses on four categories: growing startups, global tech companies, accelerators and talent builders and investors.

What does this mean for Forward School?

With this recognition, this means that we will now be able to offer local and international startups the opportunity for global expansions in ASEAN, ready-access to high-speed broadband and fibre optic connectivity, funding and facilitation opportunities, workforce-ready ecosystem, technologically focused and a holistic convenience and lifestyle experience.

Businesses registered with us can enjoy the following incentives:

  • Malaysia Tech Entrepreneurs Programme (MTEP) that issues pass for foreign founders who want to set up or expand their businesses into Malaysia
  • Access to funding
