I've always had an interest in enhancing my skills and expertise in areas of Technology, despite being an accountant by training.
There's so much I find fascinating about the field, particularly in the power of Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning; how AI makes it possible for machines to learn from experience and perform human-like tasks.
Upon graduation, I finally decided to get out of accountancy and pursue a career in Artificial Intelligence through Forward School's Applied Deep Learning program.
Throughout the program, I was amazed by the limitless possibilities of Deep Learning and the scope of knowledge that's covered.
Some of the enjoyable moments were when the instructors shared their stories and experiences on how they applied Deep Learning concepts in the real world. Not forgetting, the expectations and challenges that one will face on the job as well.
Given we only had 2 months, it was an intense and hectic program as a whole.
That said, I was glad to be able to have such supportive teammates who contributed immensely to the project that we had to carry out during the program. It wasn't easy for us as some of us are new to the concepts and application, but I am grateful that the project was presented successfully during our Demo Day!
Today, my work involves delivering solutions which intersects business intelligence and technology for companies. I hope to be able to continuously expand my knowledge and skills in the areas of Machine Learning to further understand the challenges and applications of it in Malaysia.
